Cinco De Mayo is Spanish for the fifth of May. This day commemorates the day the Mexican militia was victorious over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862 . It is celebrated throughout the state of Puebla in Mexico. There is limited recognition in other parts of Mexico and in the U.S. It is probably not worthy becoming of a national holiday since like mentioned before it is not recognized out of Puebla.
Today is also National No Homework Day. It was created by Thomas and Ruth Roy. This National day sounds awesome. I plan on spending National No Homework Day by not doing my homework if I get any.
